I recently spent a weekend at White Stone, at a wonderful villa that could easily become my “home away from home”; it’s just the right size, beautifully furnished in a simple, minimalistic way, in the quietest imaginable countryside, with a breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea and the sunset. What’s the best thing about it? It’s equipped with anything you might possibly need, from Q-tips to mosquito repellant and from Scrabble to those little clips that are used to seal opened bags of crisps… Plus the fridge is full when you arrive and so are most of the kitchen cupboards so you don’t have to rush to the supermarket. You can put your feet up and watch the sun set through the olive tree branches, by your tranquil infinity pool, sipping a glass of nicely cooled white wine… (also in fridge!). Congrats to the owners, Naya and Spyros, they’ve done an excellent job! I will be definitely coming back – a weekend was way too short!
